Directions: driving: the parking lot is on the south side of route 16 (Mystic Valley Parkway) just before the traffic light at the intersection of route 28 (Fellsway). (it will probably be hard to turn across the eastbound lanes if you are heading west on route 28; if so then continue to the next light and come back). the orienteering posse will be somewhere obvious at the far corner (southwest) of the parking lot. mbta: wellington station on the orange line is very close by. from the platform, climb to the second level, then take the 'people mover' across the bridge to the mystic car park over the orange line car yard (wasn't that fun?). head down to ground level, continue in the same direction, cross over route 28 at the lights; the start is in the car park beyond the police station at the corner of routes 16 and 28. it's about 5 minutes walk from the T to the start.

flat, open parkland. nice views of the mystic river, boston and somerville, and interstate 93. the view from one spot in particular is worth the three flights of stairs you will have to climb to get there.
