Spring training day

Starts: Sunday, April 6, 2014 12:00 AM
Registration:  Pre-registration is optional, but requested (so we know how many maps to print) by Saturday, April 5, 2014 12:00 AM
Start Type: Interval (runners start at 1 minute intervals)
Map: Pine Hill
Organizer: Alex Jospe

Come tune up your orienteering skills before the season starts in earnest. The day will consist of a series of short training exercises, each with an emphasis on different aspects of orienteering. This is a great way to hone your navigation technique, in a friendly environment.

Your entry fee covers the cost of all maps for the day. There are four different exercises, and then a fun team relay at 1pm. Cost is $10, $8 for juniors. Do as many or as few of the exercises that you want. Instruction for each exercise will be available.

E-punching will be used.

Start location will be at the Long Pond parking lot of the Middlesex Fells. (532 South Border Rd).

Come around 10, stay as long as you'd like, but the camp will wrap up after the relay at 1pm. There will be a mass-start team relay at 1pm, as one of the trainings!

*Update*
