Park-O #7: Franklin Park

Starts: Thursday, May 31, 2012 6:00 PM
Registration:  Pre-registration is optional, but requested (so we know how many maps to print) by Thursday, May 31, 2012 6:00 PM
Start Type: Interval (runners start at 1 minute intervals)
Map: Franklin Park
Organizer: Alex Jospe

Join us for the 7th event of the 2012 Boston Park Series!

We do accept post entries, but please try to pre-register as early as possible. It helps us plan for printing
enough maps, which are printed the night before the event.

The advanced course will run the red course from last year's SML champs, since we happen to have many extra red maps. The beginner's course will run the orange. I will have copies of all the maps, if somebody would prefer to run something different, but only red and orange will have flags out. See you there!

Start Location

Available Maps:

Mapquest Topozone Google Maps

Start/Finish is in a small parking lot across from the golf course. NOT AT THE STADIUM!

From T: (Orange line to Green St. station) turn right to exit the station and take green st (turns into glen rd) up the hill into the park. once inside, you will stay on the largest paved path, bear left at the first 3-way fork, and then stay to the right for two more. it's probably easiest and highly recommended to print the topo map and take it with you. (walking time ~10 mins)

Driving: see map (there will be no signs... although road signs to "Cross country course" will get you close). you can usually park in the lot at the start, or along the road right there.
